Finishing

Photo book printing - Thread sewn-glued

Sewn perfect binding is where the book block sections is actually sewn with thread before binding which results in a more durable type of softcover binding. Sewn perfect binding (or thread sewn- glued) is most often applied for catalogues as the use of catalogues is often required to be long term and the they mostly have a large number of pages. Sewing the catalogues makes sure there is never a glue failure which can happen on larger catalogues or catalogues that are opened and closed hundreds of times causing the glue to possibly crack.
